Signs Along the Highway of My Life

This is the unauthorized autobiography of my grandfather Emory Evert Hinkle, who was born on July 22, 1902 and still lives in the house that he built wth neighbors help 50 plus years ago. I (Jerry Hinkle) started this web site on February 2, 2004 to tell the story of his life and times. Grandad has begun his walk on "the highway of life" by crawling, he continued on horseback, driving an automobile, and has even rode an airplane or two along the way. He has seen and done so much in his 100 years of living. I will my best to chronicle the highlights. Grandad has fought this project every step of the way, but all the words written are his own. I must insist on an "as told to" credit, however.
